Overview of YYT HDMI-to-GMSL Solutions

The YYT HDMI2GMSL Camera Simulator is primarily used for video/image injection and host durability testing.

The converter family comprises several sub-models with different features and configurations, suitable for various systems and setups.

  • HDMI-TO-GMSL:yCamSim-basic The most common configuration. Simulates YUV422/RGB888 cameras with preset or user-defined resolution/frame-rate. Serializer options: MAX96717/F, MAX9295 (default: MAX9295).
  • HDMI-TO-GMSL:yCamSim-pro Simulates RAW cameras by converting HDMI signals (RGB888/YUV444/YUV422) into GMSL-RAW for RAW-camera injection. Serializer options: MAX96717/F, MAX9295 (default: MAX9295).
  • RAW Simulator:yCamSim-ultra Simulates RAW cameras by transferring native RAW images (RAW8/10/12) through HDMI into GMSL-RAW for “lossless” RAW injection. Serializer options: MAX96717/F, MAX9295 (default: MAX9295).
  • DVP-interface GMSL1 Simulator Simulates low-resolution YUV422 cameras whose CMOS sensor uses a DVP interface. Serializers: MAX96701/MAX96705/MAX96715 (default: MAX96701).

These products complement one another to form the YYT HDMI2GMSL portfolio, addressing diverse customer application scenarios.
